I'm Melissa Brewer, the owner and lead - well - everything. I like to call myself a "writer-preneur".... I love writing and marketing and I do have some great people working behind the scenes as well. For now, it's easiest to tell you about me in this section. I have worked as a freelance writer since 2001, at the dawn of the 'content is king' revolution. I've written for hundreds of clients and helped them populate their websites with interesting, highly readable, keyword-relevant content. I've ghostwritten eBooks, published my own ebooks, helped launch websites, and formed my own virtual copywriting agency as a result of my success. I only work with professional, US-based freelance writers that share my passion for high quality writing. (In fact, most of them are local to me here in Washington, DC.)
Some of the clients I have worked with in the past 7 years: Marlon Sanders, Matt Bacak, Richard Odessey, Elance Corporation (the company - not just as a service provider), and WebProNews. I've been widely published across the web since the year 2001, and you can find many samples of my writing simply by Googling me.
Did mention my awards? I served a tenure as writer-in-residence at the Jack Keroauc House in Orlando and the Montana Artist's Refuge. I took time off from writing and worked primarily in affiliate marketing in order to support my year off from 'real work'. Although my primary occupation is copywriting, but I have earned a few laurels in the creative world as well.
I have a passion for writing and a fascination with writing persuasive content - and using social media to reach new customers. I have a great team of professional freelance writers at my disposal to help me with the workload I now carry as the owner of three businesses. Outsourcing and friends to network with are simply priceless - no bull!
